If an expat living in Kuwait has been asked with the question " which thing in life in kuwait you like most", i am 100% sure 90% of exapt will answer "Kuwaiti Dinar". No doubt being one of the most strongest currency of world , it is a major attraction for expat labour workforce ,living in kuwait.
There are in fact many good and bad things for an expat , who is living in Kuwait. Bad things of course start with extreme weather , dusty storms , dangerous traffic and end up with language problems.
Good things in Kuwait life start with peaceful life, lesser crimes, abundance of variety of food and end up with good savings.
There is no doubt Kuwait life is full of peace and shopping , but lack socialization aspect. Expats are confined to their own communities and they hesitate in mixing across communities.
For me, among many things i like civic sense of Kuwaiti population. While crossing on foot any road in Kuwait with my family , i never find any Kuwaiti or Expat driver who does not stop his car , showing his respect for pedestrians. It is so common here in Kuwait that if somebody does not show same respect for pedestrians , people start looking at him with strange expressions.
Another best thing which i like about Kuwait is peacefulness. No body seems in hurry here. Starting from Mandoub of your company to your customers , nobody takes extra pressure.Work less and earn more , seems a lovely motto for Kuwaiti work force.
No doubt , for a person like me who does not beleive too much in socialization , Kuwait is a heaven.
